Google TV is a TV broadcasting coupled with real-time TV shows with the internet where one can watch a TV show broadcast live as well as content from video sites like YouTube. To watch the Google TV, one must use a special TV sets that are connected to Google Box. It allows users to access the web and downloading various applications.
Google TV built with open source platform based on open source, namely the Android and Chrome. Thus, features open the possibility to be developed in the future, plus the application, and other web-based services. In it is equipped with the Chrome browser to access the website, including search services to find videos, TV channels, and other interactive content.
Google TV Google plans to release a SDK (software development kit) and a web API (application programming interface) to the TV for the developers as soon as Google TV is available in the market [2]. Applications for Google TV will be collected in the Android Market. However, currently the Android and Chrome programmer can optimize the application for TV service with new tools that have been released Google.
